Dishwashers Do Flood

SERVPRO of Culpeper & Fauquier Counties was called on site to respond to a residential home with water damage. The water damage in the home was caused by a daily used appliance by most homeowners; the dishwasher. (An article found on Gizmodo.com written by Matt Novak states that "75% of American households have a dishwasher." Meaning, this could happen to just about any of us!) The dishwasher had such an intense leak that the water damage caused the hardwood floors to buckle. Our trained technicians installed an inject dry system; equipment that is specifically used for drying hard wood floors during restorations. Within just a few days the hardwood floors regained the proper conditions and were back to normal. The homeowners are please with the results; and will be using us in the future if any ever occurs in their home again.
