Odor Removal and Deodorization
Selling/buying a house is hard enough. Try selling/buying a house that has had at least three un potty trained cats living in the home for over a decade.
How are you supposed to sell/buy a house that has cat fur floating around everywhere, stains, and smells dirty from urine and cat feces.
We here at SERVPRO of Culpeper & Fauquier Counties took on this case. It took almost a full week of cleaning to do the job, but we did it right, and we got it done.
How you ask?
First, we removed all of the soft and hard items. All of the hard items (like furniture) had to be deep cleaned and thoroughly wiped down. We also had to dispose of some unsalvageable pieces of furniture as well due to swelling from the amount of urine.
Then came the HVAC system. It had to be cleaned as well due to the amount of damage that had been lingering in the household for so long.
Next we will discuss the damage that was done to the baseboards and walls due to the urine and feces. All of the flooring/baseboards had to be removed. Once everything was removed, we began a deep cleaning and scrub down by using special cleaning agents.
A clean home sells faster. So leave it to us; SERVPRO of Culpeper & Fauquier Counties to do the job for you.
We have the training and equipment to identify and eliminate these offensive odors. By identifying the cause of the odor, and determining the conditions where it contacts surfaces, the odor can often be removed over time without a trace. Our technicians have access to several odor removal products capable of penetrating surfaces to neutralize an unpleasant odor thoroughly.
The science of identifying and eliminating odors can be a tricky thing, so give us a call, and leave the restoration to us.
